Singapore is opening a brand new park this month called “Gardens by the Bay”. It is a 250 acre green space development. The park, which has been in the works for over 7 years, (initiated by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Long) has a Flower Dome,  Heritage Gardens, Gold & Silver Gardens, Dragon Fly Lake and Bay East Garden.

I came across something really cool the other day from one of my favourite online stores, macsales.com. It’s an electrical plug with two USB outlets built right in so you can charge your USB devices directly without having to find the electrical adapter.

Yesterday I was surfing the internet using two of my favorite key words: “solar” and “power” when I came across one of the best ideas I have ever seen!  What if our asphalt roads and parking lots were always dry, safe, well-lit AND smart....all while producing and storing enough solar energy to power the whole world!
