Chocolate Bird's Nests For Easter

My Gramma has lots of really good recipes. Today I helped her make some special treats for Easter. She calls them chocolate robin's nests. There's only three ingredients (well, four with the candy eggs) so they they are really easy to make!

We made a whole bunch of them so I could take them to Sprouts with me. We used a muffin tin like a mold to make the nests. Then Gramma gave me little cupcake liner to put each one in to.

They look like real bird's nests and are really good to eat too!

CHOCOLATE ROBIN'S NESTS

2 cups semi-sweetchocolate chips

1 cup of crunchy peanut butter

2 cups chow mein noodles

Candy Easter eggs

Put the chocolate and peanut butter in a large glass bowl and microwave on 75% power for one minute.

Stir and then repeat again until all the chips are melted and mixed together with the peanut butter.

Stir in your chow mein noodles until they are covered all over with the chocolate and peanut butter mixture.

Lightly grease your muffin tins.

Drop the cookie mixture into each of the muffin spots.

Use your fingers and take some mixture from the middle of each nest so you will have a place for the eggs to sit in.

Refrigerate until the nests are firm. Take each nest out of the muffin tin and put into a paper cupcake liner.

Fill each nest with at least 3 candy easter eggs.
