Use plastic containers to pack your own lunch instead of disposable bags & plastic wrap.

Avoid buying single-serving items. They will only save you seconds of time,but cost a lot more to buy and use a lot more packaging. Left-overs from supper make a terrific lunch warmed up in the microwave!

lf you like using zip-lock bags, buy the heavy duty ones that can be reused again and again. To wash, turn them inside out and wash in hot, soapy water, rinse and hang to dry. Bags dry best if they are open, so you can also drape them over an up-side-down cup or glass for the fastest drying time.
