Reuse wrapping paper, use gift-bags, or find creative ways to present gifts in other reusable containers. Towels and tea towels make good wrapping paper and also make up part of the gift. Decorate sturdy boxes with lids and use them over and over again within your family when you give presents.

Reuse product packaging for other things: Shoe boxes are excellent storage for organizing things like photos, CDs, etc. Egg cartons can be used to start seedlings or as a container to separate jewellery. Coffee cans with lids make excellent canisters for your pantry to store your dry goods like oatmeal, rice, etc. Don’t forget to label!
